Calculating overtime. Labor laws of the Republic of Korea.

   Working overtime. This work beyond normal working hours (8 hours) between the parties agree to an employer with employees. But must not exceed 12 hours per week, according to Labor Standards Act. Overtime pay is calculated as follows. 

 

  * Overtime work the day shift and night shift. (Outside normal working hours from 8 hours) per hour equals 150% or 6,165 won hours X 4,110 X 150% cases, overtime between 22.00 – 06.00 hrs per hour equals 200% or 8,220 won (the number of hours X 4,110 X. 200%). 

 

   * Overtime + holiday work 8 hours the first time (excluding interval) per hour equals 150% or 6,165 won (the number of hours X 4,110 X 150%) working hours from 9 hours per hour equals 200% or 8,220 won (number. hours X 4,110 X 200%). 

 

* Overtime + holiday + night shift (between 22.00 – 06.00 hrs) per hour equals 250% or 10,275 won (the number of hours X 4,110 X 250%). 

 

The Labor Standards Act. If working in agriculture and animal husbandry have been fishing except in the paying up working overtime and on holidays.
